Nicolette Rios, a transfer student to ASU from Phoenix College, is on track to complete her bachelor’s degree in accounting online from the W. P. Carey School of Business in fall 2024 with the help of MyPath2ASU. Nicoletta’s decision to continue her education through ASU Online was motivated by the university’s reputation and robust online programs. Her choice was also influenced by how easy the transition was with ASU’s transfer program, MyPath2ASU, because of its role in providing clarity and support. Nicolette relied on her own experience: “I saw what a transfer program looks like without a path. , and it can be extremely stressful to wonder if your classes will be what you need them to be. ASU has done a great job working with Phoenix College to create a program that allows you to keep track of everything you will need to transfer. I was able to check the list pretty easily and talk to an ASU counselor to make sure I was well prepared to get into my field.” Read more about Nicolette’s journey to ASU Eligible students can save $500 and receive $4,000 scholarships (8 :1) totaling $4,500 Funds may be used toward ASU tuition and mandatory fees Students from the Arizona community are eligible to apply to the program.

To receive federal financial aid (scholarships, loans, and work-study), you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid each year. Typically, the FAFSA is available on October 1 of each year; however, due to updates to the FAFSA, the 2024-2025 FAFSA is expected to be available in December 2023 (instead of October). The 2023-2024 FAFSA is open to students beginning in the spring or summer of 2024. Aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so apply early.

After submitting the FAFSA, regularly check the Priority Actions box in My ASU to make sure ASU does not need any additional documents from you to verify the FAFSA. All requests will be listed in My ASU or sent to your ASU email. If you are entering ASU in the spring and have already submitted a FAFSA for that year, be sure to add ASU to your FAFSA (Federal School Code 001081) so we can receive it.
