Provost Scholarship Asu Requirements – The Leadership Scholarship Program (LSP) recognizes outstanding alumni who have demonstrated excellence in leadership. Twenty-three Arizona high school seniors and two out-of-state high school seniors are selected for the scholarship each year. Established in 1977 to develop exceptional leadership skills among promising scholars, this program has a long history at Arizona State University. Through the scholarship program, students become integral members of the university community.

The LSP award is one of ASU’s institutional scholarships. ASU does not combine institutional scholarships. If you are eligible for a New American University Scholarship (ie President’s, Chancellor’s, Dean’s, Regent’s High Commendation) and selected for the Leadership Scholarship Program, you will receive only the highest-valued scholarship. If you are accepted into the Leadership Fellowship program, participation is mandatory. The LSP award is a $10,000 annual scholarship for resident students, renewable for an additional three years (a total of eight consecutive semesters). The LSP is a $13,000 annual scholarship for non-resident students, renewable for three years (a total of eight consecutive semesters). Scholarship recipients can use it for tuition and fees, housing and other educational expenses.

Colleges With The Best Merit Scholarships

Gifts like grants and scholarships are always ideal because you don’t have to pay them back – most students can’t go to school without taking out loans.

A student loan is a nominal amount you borrow to pay for your education. Now, loans give you money to pay for college, but instead of that cash, you have to pay those funds back with interest.

Each loan has its own interest rates and repayment terms depending on the type of loan and your requirements.
