Must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements. If you don’t fit into one of these categories, you risk losing aid.

Apply To The University Of Arizona

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship Services will notify you if you do not meet SAP requirements. Once you receive notification from your financial aid office, you can apply.

You will need to complete a SAP appeal form and submit it to the Financial Aid Department. Next, meet with your academic advisor to develop an academic plan that you can follow and meet SAP requirements. You will also need to submit a statement that shows how you overcame the challenges that led to your failure in the past and how you are taking positive steps to change.

If your application is approved by Financial Aid and Scholarship Services, it will be tested and you may receive financial aid. If your progress during the trial period is sufficient to meet SAP requirements, you may still be eligible for financial aid. Failure to comply with SAP requirements may result in disqualification.

Your best bet for retaining help is always to qualify, so you don’t have to go through this process. You can view your SAP status in ASU under the Finance tab.
