While being a caregiver always has its challenges, no matter your age or stage of life, there are some unique challenges to being a caregiver while in school full-time . We caught up with Termeh to see how she juggles both the day-to-day challenges of caring for her mother and the rigorous study schedule required by her curriculum.

When Termeh transferred from a local college, where she lived near her mother, to a large university farther away, she faced difficulties for which she was unprepared. “I quickly became exhausted,” Termeh admits, “and I could no longer handle the pressure of dealing with school and my mother. I don’t even have time to relax and always feel like there’s a huge burden on my shoulders.”
